Tineco Floor One S3: Here’s What I Found
My experience with Tineco floor one s3 was decent with hardwood floor cleaning, but I found its use limited to hardwood and laminate.
So, please don’t consider it for cleaning carpets. But, on the other hand, the machine comes with a HEPA filter, so that’s a plus point.
As for the customer response, most people are pretty happy with the cordless vacuum, but some customers had to get some parts replaced after a few months.
The customers found the cleaning solution (concentrate) that you get alongside pretty good.
Note:
If you’ve pets, you must dry mop pet hair off the floor before using the vacuum, which can be inconvenient for some. You will get an extra brush roller and HEPA filter, so you can always switch them to dry, wet pet fur.
It is satisfying when you see a dirty water tank after the cleaning cycle. It just tells you that the cleaning was successful. The water flow rate was also perfectly fine for a cleaning cycle.
🪠Suction Power
Its suction power is decent for regular cleaning but insufficient for deep cleaning. So for deep cleaning, you must mop after a week or two as per your floor requirement.

🧹Deep Cleaning Strength
The vacuum could not make deep clean, dry messes, like ketchup stains that had dried up after some hours. But you will be fine if you do a deep cleaning routine once or twice every 15 days.
❄️Ease of Use & Maintenance
The vacuum cleaner is pretty easy to use, though I recommend reading the manual before you use it for the first time.
As for the maintenance, it is easy to maintain if you use it on just the hardwood floor. But pet owners will need to be more cautious about their companion’s hair, as mentioned earlier.
Maintenance gets even more convenient because of the extra brush roller and HEPA filter with the vacuum. You need not take a break from the cleaning to look at the brush roller and the Hepa filter. Just swap them and go on with the cleaning.
Clean the dirt off the brush roll and rinse the HEPA filter as per the given instructions at your convenience. This comes in handy when the HEPA filter is not dry and you have to clean the house.

🔋Battery Life
Floor One S3 comes with longer battery life to get the job done on a single charge for small and medium-sized apartments.
But, it may need multiple charging sessions for large houses. The machine gives you a status report on the battery level, so you know exactly when it will need recharging.
⭐Versatile Use
This Tineco cordless vacuum cleaner is decent for hardwood floors and works well on laminate. But you cannot use it for carpets or other floor types.
Noticeable Features
However, there are handy smart features, like the self-cleaning mode or cycle, which is a pretty neat feature for busy people. It saves you from regular maintenance, but you must clean the vacuum at least once every two weeks.
You can’t use it to clean pet hairs, either. If you do so, be ready to clean the brush roller 20 times a day.
It also gives maintenance reminders (prompts when it needs a self-cleaning cycle), which leaves you with less to remember. It also has a stand that also acts as a charging docking station.
Overall, it’s not made for versatile use but has versatile features.

Tineco Ifloor 3: Here’s The Truth
The Tineco Ifloor 3 is another viable option for hardwood floorings. The vacuum has good battery life and has made superb first impressions on its customers.
The cherry on the cake is it costs significantly less than floor one s3 and still performs decently on suction power and deep cleaning capacity. In addition, the cost is reduced by only providing the basic features a wet-dry vacuum should have.
However, some customers have reported that the vacuum stopped working after a few months. In addition, they were dissatisfied with customer service after getting “poor quality” refurbished vacuums on replacement against the warranty. But not all the customers had this same experience.
🪠Suction Power
Ifloor 3’s suction capability is surprisingly good! Considering the small size, one doesn’t expect it to be capable of deep cleaning, but it does good work there. Moreover, it has stronger suction compared to its competitors.
Its power level is great! There is a significant difference in cleaning performance compared to its competitors. The great thing is that it is still very quiet during its runtime.
Still, it is not a complete solution; you may need to deep clean once a month without the vacuum.
🧹Deep Cleaning Strength
The deep cleaning strength is decent at its price range. It is not the one-stop solution to spotless hardwood floors, but it can do satisfactory cleaning. Unfortunately, it is a little behind when removing stubborn stains.
I wish it had larger tanks; you have to refill the dirty tank with clean water, even for cleaning a small apartment. The clean water tank gets quickly filled with dirty water, but the small size makes it more compact.
❄️Ease of Use and Maintenance
The vacuum is easy to use as a daily driver. If you find pushing a heavy vacuum across the rooms troublesome, it might surprise you there. On the other hand, the vacuum is pretty convenient to move around.
As for the maintenance, it is easy to maintain but requires maintenance at least once a month. For pet owners, look for tangled pet hair in the vacuum once a week.
🔋Battery Life
I found the battery capacity pretty decent compared to its competitors. It can get the cleaning done on a single charge for small and medium-sized apartments but may need a recharge if you have a big house with extensive flooring to be cleaned.
⭐Versatile Use
The company targets a niche group of customers with this vacuum. If you have a hardwood floor and don’t want to empty your pockets for a vacuum cleaner, this might be your best choice.
It’s not efficient to clean pet hairs as you have to dry mop first, but that was the case with Tineco Floor One S3 too.
Tineco ifloor 3 vs floor one s3: Which Is A Better Hardwood Vacuum Cleaner?
You’ve gone through the detailed features and specs of both Tineco vacuums, so now it’s time for the ultimate showdown.
The first thing to highlight is the cost. If you have a small or average sized-apartment, the Ifloor 3 would be more cost-effective. However, Tineco Floor ONE S3 is what you should go for if you live in bigger apartments. It’s got better quality and can manage a longer routine.
If you are looking for a complete vacuum and mop solution, go for Floor One S3, as it has a better mopping strength than the mediocre mopping of Ifloor 3.
Unfortunately, I found more customers to have a bad customer service experience in the case of Tineco Ifloor 3.
Conclusion:
To sum up all the parameters, the Tineco One S3 vacuum cleaner is a clear winner. It’s got better quality, more features, and better customer support. But, if budget is an issue, the Ifloor 3 is also a fine choice.
